Title: A few suggestions... Post by EvanGR on Sep 6th, 2003, 4:36pm Here's a few things I'd like to see implemented in future versions of MIDI-OX: 1) In the data mapping window, I'd like to be able to define numerous mapping rules (i.e. rows) and be able to (de)activate each one arbitrarily and individually, a checkbox would do. Right now, it's either all on, or all off. So for example, if I wanted to assign my mod-wheel to translate to various other ctrl data (but not simultaneously) I currently have to edit the rule every time I want to change the behavior. 2) It would be nice for MIDIOX to feature a built-in MIDI controller list and description of ctrl numbers. I cannot always remember which ctrl no. is which. So e.g. ctrl no.7 is Main Volume, I'd like to have that description available in the respective interface components that deal with midi controller data. 3) In the MIDIOX panel, I usually keep a couple of sub-panels open all the time (e.g. input and output monitor). I use the cascade function to lay them out in the available area, but when I resize the window, the windows inside it don't. An automatic cascade/resize function would come in handy. Thanks! |

Title: Re: A few suggestions... Post by Jamie OConnell on Sep 14th, 2003, 5:15pm Thanks for the suggestions. As a work-around for #2, you can open the MIDI-OX Control Panel, and open the controller drop down list to see defined controller names. |
