Title: Can I use this controller with Windows and midiox? Post by Immanuel on Aug 2nd, 2005, 8:55pm Hi there I am totally new to this thing, so bare with me, if my question appears stupid. I have a JL Cooper CS10 controller, which I got very cheap on an auction. Later I found out, that it was the version without MIDI connectors. Instead it has a 'COM' and an 'EXT' connector. Both looks a bit like the PS2-connectors for keyboards and mice, but it only 8 or 9 holes (I am not sure, if the lowest one is a hole) ... yes, round and a bit like PS2 (not playstation ofcoarse). I somehow have a feeling that this is a MAC thing, but I wonder, if it would be possible to use this thing with windows, if I get the right cable and install midiox? Can anyone comment on that? Title: Re: Can I use this controller with Windows and mid Post by Peter L Jones on Aug 3rd, 2005, 1:14pm MIDI OX talks to MIDI ports. If you've got a device without MIDI, MIDI OX can't talk to it. It's not that powerful a magic! :D |

Title: Re: Can I use this controller with Windows and mid Post by Larry Salomon Jr. on Aug 12th, 2005, 12:14pm You have to find out what the connectors on the controller are first before anyone can answer your question. If you suspect it is a MAC thing then find out for sure. Regardless, there may be converters on the market than you can use to work on a Windows box. |
