Hi,

      I install today MIDI Yoke  NT version to see how it is but, when I unistall the driver. My main Sound Card MIDI Port dosen't want to work anymore. I unistall Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum eX Software and Install my Creative Drivers and software back and still I get no MIDI Signal.

Now I when to fdisk and from there I deleted the file myokent.dll manualy and install new Creative Drivers Update but, yet. I get my Creative Keyboard and SoundBanks but no Signal since I install MIDI Yoke. Now what is that is happening here?

Since i install MIDI Yoke my normal External MIDI Keyboard dosen't work.  :-/ I try runing it on Reason, Orion, FruityLoops and Cubase and nothing. :'( Can somebody help me here please. I need to get my music Keyboard back and runing A.S.A.P. So, I can finish my projects.

Thanks in Advance!

P.S. Anyone have tips or any information I can try to get it working again please E-mail me at;

I have never heard of an uninstall of MIDI Yoke interfering with another MIDI driver, so this would be a first.  The uninstall is performed completely by Windows XP.

Does your SB devices still show up in Reason, Fruitly Loops and Cubase?  Does the SB internal Synth still playback? From your message you seemed to indicate that it does.  Is it possible that you have some cable failure with your external  synthesizer?  You could test your SB external MIDI interface using MIDI-OX: attach a known good MIDI hardware cable from SB Output to SB input Attach one MIDI-OX instance to SB MIDI Out.  Attach another MIDI-OX instance to SB MIDI in, and then perform some data in the first instance (using the builtin computer MIDI keyboard or whatever).

Also run your Creative Diagnostics program.

I know that some SB update drivers have not worked that well: you might want to roll back to the drivers that came with Windows XP.

Well,

        This is the thing, I got the MIDI Yoke wich was runing very good and I though it was a great tool for those that dosen't have external MIDI Keyboard but, since i have one then I really didn't needed it. So, I unistall it by removing the driver dll file from the Device Manager until the Sound Card section. Then I when to test the MIDI Keyboard and it was not playing any notes. So, however; I then update just the SB drivers to see if that do it but it didn't fix the problem. So I then when to Unistall the full software and reinstall it and still nothing. I run Orion, Reason, Cubase and dosen't play no notes like I get no signal at all.

Now the Cable of my MIDI Port to my Keyboard MIDI Port seem to be working good I think cause, I get light on my Keyboard. I know my sound Card Game Port is working cause I use it to fly online FS2002. So, the Card and the Cable seem to be good. I believe my Keyboard didn't die on me. But I believe someting is not right here and is cause maybe I am under SP-1 and the drivers are not set to use SP-1 maybe or if not then is not allowing my system to run my normal MIDI drivers. So, what I might do is do a system file check and update it with SP-1 to see what happens. If not then I will try the way you told me and see what happens.

Thanks alot for your reply!

=)
