Title: Suggestion for Midi Yoke NT

My suggestion is to create an installer like Nvidia's Detonator, etc. so in that way installing the driver will be easier

That would be nice.  Windows display drivers use a different OS code path for installation, and are based on actual hardware.

If I knew of a way to enhance the installer I would do it, but so far, I do not think it is possible for a virtual device driver.  Since there is no hardware backing the device, it cannot use plg-and-play, and cannot take advantage of almost all features of the newer .INF install file format.  The only way I know of to have Windows reliably install the driver is to use the current method.

You might look into the way Daemon Tools does it. www.daemon-tools.com
It's a virtual SCSI cdrom device - maybe he can give you his ideas.
I really like your Auto installer though.

Thanks for the suggestion.  MIDI and Audio device drivers are handled differently than drivers from other parts of the system, but the virtual aspect of the driver is a similar concept.
