Title: Script not firing diverted midi...
Post by krav_magan on Sep 15th, 2014, 12:02pm
The sample scripts were working yesterday... the midi was getting diverted, transformed through the script and then output.  I'm not sure what happened but these same sample scripts will divert the midi but then nothing will get fired.  And as soon as the script closes, the midi will fire completely normally (so it's not an input problem).   The mox.FireMidiInput = 1, I mean it's the sample script so it's not a problem with the code.

Is there some option in midiox itself to silence output from a script, maybe as a safety mechanism or something?  And this got accidentally checked somehow?

Any help is appreciated.

Just got the solution from another post by Soul-Burn:

I didn't add the Midi-OX events to the channels, causing the generated events to go nowhere.

Also, it is a good idea to check if your virtual midi ports have a feedback prevention feature that will mute the port automatically - this can cause no output as well but it will be for both the script and regular transforming in midiox.
