I do better with Program BAnks which seem to go to and from VFX without any data corruption  -- mostly.   However sending All data which is Program Bank + Preset Blank + Multi setup  results in random sized files reaching Midi Ox.  When you send these files back to VFX of course there is corruption of names patch data etc at the keyboard end. Also I seem to get a SysEx receive error popping up on the VFX when I send the All Data dump to MIDI Ox.   I guess the solution will be down to buffer sizes number of buffers or delays. I get the feeling (instinct only) that some data is geting clogged in the system  --- even though my Tascam FW1994 unit does give me a clear visual indication of when Midi data is being sent.  I am sending and receiving on Midi Channel 1 on Ensoniq VFX and TAscam in Omni mode on the VFX.   ANY HELP VERY GRATEFULLY RECEIVED SIMON56 IP Logged Jamie OConnell Administrator     Gender: Posts: 2027 Re: TryingSysEx Dump to/from Ensoniq VFX « Reply #1 on: Aug 4th, 2005, 1:15pm » Quote Modify Quote: Also I seem to get a SysEx receive error popping up on the VFX when I send the All Data dump to MIDI Ox.   You might want to ensure that you're not sending the SysEx dump back to the VFX when you're dumping it to MIDI-OX.
