Simple Routing Question

OK i knw this must be REAL basic to most of u and may even be silly to some, but i need help. What i wanna do is have my midi controller run through MIDIOX before it reaches my sequencer (LIVE) so i can do some basic controller modification. I tried the devices setup and other things but jus cant seem to get this right... Can some1 please help?

Based on the goal you state, you should install both MIDI-OX and the MIDI Yoke driver: http://www.midiox.com/myoke.htm In MIDI-OX choose the MIDI Input port attached to the Evolution as Input, and MIDI Yoke 1 as Output. In LIVE, choose MIDI Yoke 1 as input.

Thanks very much for the quick reply. Fantastic Support! I got the setup working (tho the routing is something i still dont get properly!) Is this a safe setup to use in a Live environment? how much of a role do the use of these 2 apps in the chain affect stability?

That's really going to depend on your machine's hardware, amount of memory, what else you may be running when you are doing your DJ thing, etc.
