does anyone here use MidiYoke?

im trying to sync Magix Midi Studio and Reason using MidiYoke, but im obviously not doing something right.

i insert a Midi track in Midi Studio and change the driver to MidiYoke Midi 1 and then opend reason, but it locks up and says that the Midi driver is in use....or something.

if someone could help me out and tell me what to do...id appreciate it.

Does Magix support MIDI Sync acting as Master?  If so, you should be all set.  Open Reason 1st, go to Preferences | Advanced MIDI and select MIDI Yoke 1 as MIDI Clock Sync.  Do not select MIDI Yoke 1 anywhere else in Reason.
Select Options | MIDI Clock Sync

In Magix (I don't have it), select MIDI Yoke 1 as your Output port, and make sure you don't have MIDI Yoke 1 selected as an input port.

If you want to verify your setup, try using MIDI-OX in place of Magix.  There is a MIDI Sync view in MIDI-OX so it can also act as a MIDI Sync Master.

ok...i got them to sync together, but im not getting a signal inside Midi Studio.

Reason syncs to the BPM's set in Midi Studio and when i hit play in Midi Studio, Reason begins to play...but no signal in the Mixer of Midi Studio.

any info?
