Midi yoke not working with DM2?

Hi, everyone!

I'm running windows XP on a Sony Vaio.

Here's the deal...
I bought my girlfriend a Mixman DM2 (stop laughing) so she can play around with it, that sort of thing. She uses "real" turn-tables at her radio station and I thought she'd think it'd be pretty fun to play around with tracks on her computer.

Anyway, I downloaded the "Use DM2 with Traktor" package and installed it, following the directions to a "T." I can get all the programs to recognize the Midi Yoke "junctions," but they just don't seem to be working.

First of all, I wasn't able to get the Junctions detected at all, and I found out that I have to go to "Sounds and Audio Devices" in the control panel and change my MIDI MUsic Playback default device to one of the MIDI Yoke junctions for it to detect any of the junctions. So after I got it detecting them, and I loaded all the instructions, nothing happened. Traktor just isn't responding to the DM2.

Is there something I'm missing?

This is the first I have heard of the "Use DM2 with Traktor package", so we're completely unfamiliar with it.

Our method of testing a good MIDI Yoke install is straightforward:

1) Download and install MIDI-OX v7
2) Open MIDI-OX go to Options | MIDI Devices... and Choose MIDI Yoke NT 1 as the Input device, and some external or internal Synth as the Output device.
3) Open MIDIBar for MIDI-OX: Actions | Play MIDI....
4) Configure MIDIBar to use MIDI Yoke NT 1 for Output (2nd button).
5) Load a MIDI File and Press Play.

You should see the MIDI data displayed in the Monitor as the MIDI file plays back.  If you do, MIDI Yoke is working properly.

i had the same problem at first
1) make sure you have the dm2 mixer software installed
2) make sure you have the dm2 to midi software open while trying to run Traktor
3)In the tracktor software the is a box in the preference> input tab make sure u have the same controller as the one for the dm2 to midi software
4)make sure youve loaded the dm2 package in the dm2 to midi software
5) make sure youve loaded the traktor dm2 settings
if you have any other questing feel free to email medjpointandclick@yahoo.com
