Bidirectional, in and out

Hi, Can someone explain to me how to achieve the following setup? I wrote a program which I want to insert between the sequencer and the midi keyboard. Tne normal setup (without MIDI-Yoke) is then keyboard <-----> sequencer I want to do keyboard <----> MyProgram <----> Sequencer and have it to work in both directions. My program manages directly the the keyboard and it does not use any driver (in fact it uses a tcp/ip connection on another machine on which the keyboard is connected) so I have 4 ports: in and out for my program as well as in and out for the sequencer. Now my question is simple How to choose the midi yokes ports for the 2 applications? MyProgram(in=?, out=?), Sequencer(In=?, out=?) Thanks, Jean-Marc

If I understand correctly, your program talks directly to a MIDI controller on another machine, so all the in/out handling of that is handled by your program. You want your program to also talk to a sequencer via MIDI Yoke, and you want bi-directional communication? [Your Program]->[Out: MIDI Yoke 1 :In]->Sequencer->[Out: MIDI Yoke 2 :In]->[Your Program] Your program chooses: Input: MIDI Yoke 2 Output: MIDI Yoke 1 Sequencer chooses: Input: MIDI Yoke 1 Output: MIDI Yoke 2
