Change number of ports?

First, thanks for the myokent software.  It has allowed me to use software that I would not have been able to use otherwise.

One question though...is there any way to change the number of ports from 8 to a lower number?  I have gone into the configuration and found that I can not change it.  I have another program that just displays 8 devices to choose from, and as long as the myoke is installed, all I can see to choose from are the 8 myoke devices and not my other devices that I really need to select.

thanks!

The number of ports on the latest driver is fixed at 8.  You can uninstall that and use the older driver (midiyokeold.zip on the MIDI Yoke page), to get 3 ports.

I have this same problem with Vienna 2.3 and the latest Midi Yoke ver 1.71 on Win2000.  I did not see the referenced midiyokeold.zip for download, so is there some method of reducing the number of ports in the Registry using regedit/regedt32?

Thanks,

There is no method for changing the number of ports via the registry.  Try this link: http://www.midiox.com/zip/midiyokeold.zip
